This page is for whoever keeps the broadcast information up to date — a clerk, the coordinator,
or a tech-savvy helper. The Sunday operator does not need this page.
Edit the broadcast information
Type the correct information below. Nothing changes until you press a button in the next section.
Save your changes
Save on this computer — the pages on this laptop update right away (just refresh them).
Make it permanent, or copy it to another building — download the settings file and put it in the
Sacrament Broadcast Instructions folder, replacing the old config.js file.
Where does the download go?
Your browser saves config.js to the Downloads folder. Open File Explorer, drag that file into the
Sacrament Broadcast Instructions folder on the Desktop, and choose Replace when asked.
For day-to-day use on this laptop, “Save on this computer” alone is enough — the download is for backups and other buildings.
Prefer to edit the file by hand?
You can, but the form above is easier and safer. To edit config.js directly: right-click it →
Open with → Notepad, change only the words inside the “quotation marks”, and keep
the quotes and commas. Then save and refresh the pages. To check it for typos, paste the whole file into
jshint.com — it points to any line with a
mistake. (Don’t use a JSON checker — this file has comments a JSON checker will reject.)
